Pan-African International Arbiters & Trainers Academy Concludes in Lagos
The ACC Arbiters Commission in collaboration with the Nigeria Chess Federation hosted a 5-day intensive FIDE Arbiters Seminar in Lagos.
Covering the 2026 FIDE Laws of Chess, electronic clock regulations, pairing systems (Swiss-Manager), and anti-cheating protocols, 30 candidates completed the official examination.
The successful arbiters earned official FIDE Arbiter norms, reinforcing tournament governance standards ahead of the upcoming African Youth and Zonal championships.
